Small town boy in a big city (Location: Beijing, China)

The North Korea notes are still in paper format, will post them later. But meanwhile I'll add a couple of blog entries about the days I have spent in Beijing - mostly quite active sightseeing meaning long walks and not much chilling out.

First of all this place is big as everybody probably knows. Meaning distances are big, sights are huge and there are lots of people everywhere... There are many interesting sights in the area but because of the big distances it takes a long time to see them. I have been mostly concentrating on the 'compulsory' ones - meaning Tiananmen Square area, Forbidden City, Great Wall and Summer Palace as the first things. I'll post a couple of shorter entries about them...
