Changing the beach (Location: Puerto Galera, Philippines)

After 3 nights in White Beach thought about checking out the Sabang some 10 km away... It took one noisy tricycle ride and some 15 minutes in a jeepney to get here. Seems that this place is lot more packed than White Beach, there is also a lively diving scene here. Thought about taking a diving school later during this trip, maybe here as the prices were reasonable.

The beach is actually very bad here, pebbles instead of white sand and dirty water... The population of German and British grandfathers with their young girlfriends is more numerous than in White Beach. I booked a hotel from the La Laguna beach bit further away from the hassle. It is actually quite nice place even though they are playing bad music loud at the terrace there. But if you are not into diving there is not that much to do here! Of course they have the interesting 'floating bars' here - they are basically a couple of rafts with bar facilities in the middle of the bay! You don't have to swin there as transportation by small boats is included!

It was partly cloudy today and I had still some sunburns so I spent the day mostly away from the sun. Had the traditional pinoy dish adobo today for the first time, very good indeed!

  2. Terveiset Espoon perukoilta!
